Privacy

NinePaths collects the minimum needed to run the product:

• Name and date of birth — used to calculate your numbers. For a free calculation they are processed and shown to you; for a paid reading they are stored with your order so the reading can be generated and re-served on your private link.
• Email address — stored only if you subscribe or purchase, used to deliver your chart or reading and occasional product notes. Unsubscribe anytime by replying.
• Payments — handled entirely by Stripe; card details never touch our servers.
• Paid readings — written by Anthropic's Claude AI model. To write yours we send Anthropic the name and date of birth you entered (and, for a compatibility reading, the second person's), your computed numbers, and anything you asked the reading to focus on. Nothing else is sent, and Anthropic does not use it to train its models.
• Analytics — anonymous event counts (page visited, chart calculated). No advertising trackers are sold your data.
• Which link brought you — if you arrive from a tagged link (for example one of our YouTube videos), your browser remembers that link's campaign tags and the page you came from, and we store them with your email or order so we know which videos help people.
• Accounts — if you create an account, we store your email address, your password only as a salted one-way hash, your time zone (so your personal day turns over at your midnight), and whether you asked for the Synchronicity letter. The sign-in and account pages use two cookies, one to keep you signed in and one to protect their forms, and nothing else. You can download or delete your account yourself from its settings page.
• Saved people — if you save someone else's chart to your account (a partner, a friend, a parent), we store the name and date of birth you enter for them, only so your account can show their numbers and how they match yours. Please save only people who are happy for you to; their details stay private to your account, are never shown to anyone else, and are deleted when you remove them or delete your account.

We never sell personal data. To have your data deleted, email us and include your order link if you have one — or, for an account, delete it yourself in its settings.
