What your numbers reveal
Numerology reads the two things about you that never change — your birth date and your birth name — as a chart of numbers, each describing a different layer of who you are. Your Life Path number, drawn from your birth date, is the road itself: the lessons and themes your life keeps returning to. Your Expression number, drawn from the letters of your name, is how you're built to travel that road — your working style and native talents. The Soul Urge (the vowels) is what quietly motivates you; the Personality number (the consonants) is the first impression you make before you say a word.
Around that core, the calculator also reads your Birthday number, your Maturity number, and the timing layer: the Personal Year you're in right now and what it favors. Where a karmic debt number (13, 14, 16, 19) stands behind one of your numbers, we flag it and explain the growth theme it points to.

Questions, answered
Is this numerology calculator really free?
Yes. Your complete core chart — Life Path, Expression, Soul Urge, Personality, Birthday, Maturity, and Personal Year numbers — is calculated and explained free, instantly, with no account. The optional full written reading is a one-time purchase.
Which system does NinePaths use?
The Pythagorean system, the standard in Western numerology: letters map to the numbers 1–9, dates are reduced with master numbers 11, 22, and 33 preserved, and karmic debt numbers 13, 14, 16, and 19 are flagged when they stand behind a core number.
Which name should I enter?
Your full name exactly as it appears on your birth certificate, middle names included. In numerology that original name is the blueprint; nicknames and married names describe later chapters.
How is my Life Path number calculated?
Your birth month, day, and year are each reduced to a single digit or master number, then summed and reduced again. Reducing the parts first is what lets genuine master numbers (11, 22, 33) survive the math.
What do you do with my birth data?
It's used to calculate your numbers and then shown to you. We don't sell data, and nothing about your results is public. See the privacy policy for details.
