What this year is

A Personal Year 2 follows the push of a 1, and the change of pace can be disorienting. This is a year of development rather than initiation: what you started needs time, cooperation, and attention to detail that the 1 year had no patience for. Progress is real but largely invisible, which is why 2 years are often mistaken for stalling.

The focus

Relationship and refinement. Partnerships come to the foreground — business, romantic, creative. Sensitivity runs higher than usual, both yours and other people's. The work is cooperative: getting others on board, negotiating terms, and doing the patient tuning that turns a rough start into something that works.

What to do

Nurture what you began. Invest in key relationships and let others contribute. Attend to detail. Practise diplomacy where you would normally force. Keep records and tend the unglamorous middle. Rest more than you think you need to — this year's energy is genuinely lower and fighting it is counterproductive.

What to avoid

Forcing outcomes, which reliably backfires this year. Avoid taking things too personally — sensitivity is elevated and slights will register larger than they are. Do not interpret slow visible progress as failure, and resist the urge to abandon the 1 year's project because year two is undramatic.
